In 2013, we (Alex and Andrew, also known as The Bizzy Boys) began making cold brew coffee in our small apartment. Sick of spending $5 on a cup from a coffee shop, we were determined to create the best tasting cold brew at home. Despite starting with only a low-quality grinder and inexpensive beans, we were unsatisfied with the results. With Andrew's expertise in R&D Engineering and my background in Consumer Research, we made it our mission to craft the perfect cold brew. Every aspect was meticulously researched and tested, from the beans and roast profiles to the brewing process and packaging. As a result, we had an abundance of cold brew on hand and started sharing it with friends for feedback. We even held a 100-person panel to ensure we were producing the best product possible.
